About Me

My name is Alyssa Gammelgaard. I am updating my “about me” section now because I am a completely different person since my first draft written about three years ago. In that draft, I had written, “I have no idea who I am…” which was incredibly true at the time. Now I cringe to remember those days… of not knowing my identity, my true identity in Christ. I can now say with boldness that I know exactly who I am. I am a blood bought daughter of the Most High King. Warrior Bride. Robed in righteousness. Adopted. Cherished. And loved beyond belief.

I am 23 years old. I exist to fill the earth with the knowledge of God’s glory. To live a lifestyle of worship and intimacy. To receive and embody the fullness of what Christ Jesus died for me to have. I love art and videography and intend to use every ounce of those gifts to expand the Kingdom of God and make Him known in this generation!

My sister in Christ! You just do not know how God used you to bless me this evening!!! I came across your blog as I was looking up the significance of “Dove Eyes” because I was ready the Song of Solomon and I like to get understanding. So I googled “Dove Eyes” and there was your blog. I will honestly admit that I skimmed your articled at first, I just focused on the verbiage about Dove eyes. When I went back to reference something I read it in it’s entirety. And I was arrested in the spirit when I read that Our Lord and Savior calls us his Beloved….Be-Loved!!!! All these years, I’ve heard it over and over again but did not believe it. But when I read it tonight it hit my spirit and all I could do was weep as I listened to Hosanna by Israel Houghton. Our God is awesome!!!
